The Earth Shattering Question!

I was having lunch with a friend one day and a very important subject came up. I was asked a question that I simply did not have the answer to. I was completely stunned by the sheer magnitude and depth of such a question.

This topic has been discussed all over the world. However, no one seems to want to answer it. When they are asked they just look away as if they weren't. I do not blame them because even I was afraid to let the words out. This is not something you can just answer without thinking. There are even rumors circulating of people who just blurt out any amount out of desperateness. Now all of those people are frowned upon in disgust and pity.

Now, the question is directed mostly towards men but lets not be sexist. We need to know the opinions from as many people as possible in order to figure out the truth. This question knows no race, gender, or religion. It affects us all as human beings and possibly animals too but they can't choose like we can.
